The Towson Branch of the Baltimore County Public Library required an economic impact report on the branch's economic output to help advocate for additional state funding for potential building renovations and/or an entirely new complex and, more importantly, to sway public officials against a possible sale of the branch’s building.

Parker Strategy Group calculated the economic impact of the branch’s operations and the spending impact that its customers have on the local economy.
In addition to building custom models to calculate the operational and capital spend, Parker Strategy Group surveyed branch customers on their spending habits when making a trip to the library.
With over 1,100 survey respondents, Parker Strategy Group obtained a robust sample to paint a full picture of the Towson Library’s impact.
